Shaft-mounted gearboxes Browning, also named TorqTaper Plus Shaft Mount (SMTP) Browning, are the cost-effective method for actuating a drive. The shaft-mounted design eliminates the need for support structures, simplifies the installation.

SMTP gearboxes use a unique bushing system called the TorqTaper Plus bushing, which makes it easy to install from the front or back side of the gearbox, that provides greater versatility when mounted on a shaft and allows it to be used as a substitute for another brand.
